Hendrick Motorsports Strengthens Cybersecurity Through New Partnership with Check Point

Hendrick Motorsports strengthens its cybersecurity by partnering with Check Point Software Technologies to deploy advanced threat prevention, real-time threat intelligence, and unified security management across its racing operations.

Hendrick Motorsports has partnered with Check Point Software Technologies to boost its cybersecurity defenses across its racing operations, leveraging advanced threat prevention and real-time threat intelligence to protect critical systems, networks and data as the sport becomes increasingly digital and data-driven.

Under the new agreement, Check Point will provide Hendrick Motorsports with a unified security management platform designed to safeguard against ransomware, malware, phishing and other evolving cyber risks that can threaten both competitive advantage and operational continuity.

As part of the collaboration, Check Point also became an associate sponsor of driver Corey Day and the team’s No. 17 Chevrolet entry competing in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series championship in 2026. Check Point branding will appear on the race car, team fire suits, and track equipment throughout the season, elevating the visibility of the cybersecurity partnership.

Rachel Roberts, Americas President of Check Point Software Technologies, emphasized the importance of strong cyber defenses in today’s digital landscape and said the company’s prevention-first approach will help Hendrick Motorsports protect its technology ecosystem while focusing on performance and innovation. Jeff Andrews, President of Hendrick Motorsports, noted that the high-performance, data-intensive nature of modern racing demands trusted cybersecurity expertise to safeguard its systems and operations.

The expanded digital footprint of motorsports encompassing connected engineering tools, fan engagement platforms and operational systems makes integrated cybersecurity solutions increasingly vital, and this partnership highlights how elite organizations are investing in protection to stay ahead of threats.
