Toshiba Launches Small Photorelays with High-Speed Turn-On Contribute to Shorter Test Times for Semiconductor Test Equipment

【Lansheng Technology Information】On May 25, Toshiba announced the launch of a photorelay in the S-VSON4T package - "TLP3476S", whose conduction time is shortened by half compared with Toshiba's current product TLP3475S. The product supports volume shipments starting today.

The TLP3476S is faster and more compact than Toshiba's current product, the TLP3475S. By improving the light output of infrared LEDs and optimizing the design of photodetection devices (photodiode arrays), this product can achieve high-efficiency optical coupling and also improve the operating speed, shortening the maximum turn-on time to 0.25ms, which is TLP3475S half. In addition, the TLP3476S is 20% thinner than current products thanks to the smaller and slimmer S-VSON4T package (1.4mm maximum thickness). This helps reduce the size of devices that require multiple boards.

The TLP3476S is suitable for semiconductor test equipment circuits with a large number of relays and shorter switching times.
